We bid farewell to Laura Soper (Carleton Place, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 7, 2025 at the age of 35. Laura touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She is survived by: her mother Kathy Soper; her sister Megan; her brother-in-law Geordie; and her nieces, Georgia and Frankie. She is also survived by her many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home (19 MacArthur Ave, Carleton Place, ON K7C2W1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to organizations supporting mental health awareness and eating disorder recovery, such as the National Eating Disorder Information Centre (https://nedic.ca)(NEDIC) or CAMH.
