She was predeceased by: her husband Angus John Elliott (Gus); her parents, Margaret Mara and Norris Mara; her siblings, William, Diana Mara, Gertrude, Robert Jones and N. James Mara; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Mara and Carolynne Mara.
She is survived by: her son Andrew (Annie Bertrand); her grandchildren, Chace and Billie Rose of Candiac, Quebec.; her sister-in-law Grace (Ken); her nephew David Wright; and her siblings, Peter Mara, John Mara, Thomas Mara (Tina), Wanda Mara, Mary Moran (Lyle), Elizabeth Mears (David), Christine Foster (Orland) and Katherine Vesterfelt (John). She is also survived by Aunt.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. James Anglican Church (225 Edmund St, Carleton Place, ON K7C3E7).
