It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Chase (Carleton Place, Ontario), who passed away on August 22, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Melvin Chase to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Effie Chase (Stanzel) and Reginald Chase; and his siblings, Margaret and Herbert. He is survived by: his close friend DeeDee Scissons; his stepchildren, Emily (Jamie Reid), Carter (Alicia Kerr) and Shenell Hollington (Chris Goussis); his grandchildren, Austin, Dawson, Elsie, Rosie, Leo and Xavier; his pet Mary; his father-in-law Leo Scissons; and his sisters, Maisie Joyner, Doreen Joyner, Freda Sweetman and Marilyn Chase-White. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
