He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joyce Prest and Leo Prest of Carleton Place; his close friend Judy Rose; his children, Wendy Jr (Chris Lamont) and Michael Jr.; his stepchild Alexandra (Ryan Knowles) of Nova Scotia; his grandchildren, Jaimee, Hailey, Carter Lamont and Michael Quinn Prest; his stepgrandchildren, Angus, Henry, Oliver and Elizabeth of Nova Scotia; and his siblings, Daniel (Dianne O'Reilly), Richard (Cathy), Barbara (Michael Usher) and David (Caroline Campbell).
