Muriel will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Muriel by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Muriel is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Muriel’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Henry. She is survived by: her children, Marie (Kevin Winter), Patricia (Calvin Murphy) and Michael (Nancy Levesque); her grandchildren, Matthew, Walter and Grace; and her sister Barbara (Ed Rahman).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home (19 MacArthur Ave, Carleton Place, ON K7C2W1). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's United Church (2585 County Rd 29, Pakenham, ON K0A2X0).
