He was predeceased by: his daughter Shirley; his parents, Rene and Paula; his former wife Shirley; and his brothers, Paul and Andre.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Linda Smith (Bill), Peter (Colleen), Pat Horton (Jack), Suzann Townend (Ray), John (Patti), Wendy Young (David) and Robert Beaupre; and his siblings, Lucille, Gaston, Claude and Ghislaine. He is also survived by wife and children.
