We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2025, at the age of 67, Ronald William Millar (Carleton Place, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Edmund Millar and Mary Elizabeth (Betty); his siblings, Brian, Rosa Thornton, Sharon, Ron Bassett and Nancy Thornton; and his aunts and uncles, Ronald Moran, Curtis Moran, Dorothy Speers, Lois Heeney, Ruth Heeney, Marilyn Johnson, Walter (Ada) and Ernie (Kate).
He is survived by: his siblings, Clifford Thornton (Betty), Doug Thornton and Maureen; his nieces and nephews, Nina (Glenn), Cliff (Nadia), Angie, Vanessa (Joe), Nick, Kristen, Geoff, Scott (Sara), Shawn (Kim), Vincent, Tony (Elaine), Rob (Jasmine), Cassandra and Jesse (Aishwarya); and his cousins, Jim (Laurie), Ernie (Anne Marie), Jeff (Kath) and Esther (Wayne Brunke).
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Barker's Funeral Home (19 MacArthur Ave, Carleton Place, ON K7C2W1). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Ron's memory would be greatly appreciated.
