He was predeceased by: his parent Tony Percy; his brothers, Bill, Wayne and Francis; his parents-in-law, Arthur Thompson and Kay Thompson; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Thompson, Herb Thompson, Jackie Thompson and Joyce Thompson.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy (Thompson); his sons, Jacob (Megan) of Fort McMurray and Jarvis (Lauren) of Carleton Place; his parent Ella Percy; and his siblings, Linda Hall (Merv), Bonnie Mitchell (late Dennis), Doug (Cathy), Karen Robertson (Peter) and Kevin (Suzie).
