He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father John; his wife Mary; his children, Richard Cook (Linda) of Malaysia, Mary Jane Matheson (Murdoch) of Kingston and Melinda Merkley (Bernard) of Carleton Place; his grandchildren, Brock, Alexandra, Ian, Katie and Shamus; and his great grandchildren, Roman, Lachlan, Maverick and Flora.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (177 George St, Carleton Place, ON K7C1Z6).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Capt. A. Roy Brown Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion in Wally's name.
