He was predeceased by: his brother Larry Aitkenhead; and his parents, George Southwell and Robert (Elva Aitkenhead). He is survived by: his children, Sasha Lanktree (Mike), Cory Southwell (Amy), Veronica Scott (Kevin) and William Southwell; his grandchildren, Kevin, Haylea, Christina, Hudson, Carter, Lexi, Greyson, Kaya, Makayla, Keio, Brody and Levi; his siblings, Ken Southwell (Jerry), Millie Rivington (Randy), Robbie Aitkenhead (Marianne) and Candy Aitkenhead (Al); his brother-in-law Donnie Lee; and his close friends, Pat, Al and Christina.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Barker Funeral Home (19 MacArthur Ave, Carleton Place, ON K7C2W1). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Army (315 Townline Road East, Carleton Place, ON K7C3S2).
