We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2025, Catherine JOHANNA MARIA (Kempers) Verlaan (Elmvale, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, Piet Kempers, John Kempers (Norma) and Joop Kempers (Nel). She is survived by: her husband Gerald Verlaan; her sons, Lawrence and Timothy (Lindsay); her grandchildren, Nick, Emily, Cate and Alice; and her siblings, Suze, Dien and Louis. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home (15 Yonge St S, Elmvale, ON L0L 1P0). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church (106 Yonge St N, Elmvale, ON L0L1P0).
If desired, memorial donations in Catherine's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and the OSPCA (Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
