He was predeceased by : his spouse Shirley Ruby Handy; his siblings, Ruby Crowe and Leonard (Doreen); his sister-in-law Faye Townes (Lawrence); and his parents, Zelma Handy (Dickinson) and Ira Handy.
He is survived by : his sons, Douglas (Cynthia) and Shane (Leslie-Ann); his grandchildren, Craig (Samantha), Francesca, Alexander and Matthew; his great grandchild Slade James Handy; and his brother-in-law Donald Archer (Margaret). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
