We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2026, William JOHN Sherman (Elmvale, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid William farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For William is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Billy and Jennifer (George); his son-in-law George; and his wife Dianne.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home (15 Yonge St S, Elmvale, ON L0L1P0). A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at the Allenwood Cemetery (2354 Flos Rd 11 W, Elmvale, ON L0L1P0).
