We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Jill Northey of Fenelon Falls, Ontario, born in Oshawa, Ontario. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including : her cousin Norah; her pets, Henry, Alice, Genny and Bella; and her parents, Donald Alexander Northey of Fenelon Falls, ON and Winifred Florence Northey (Sheppard) of Lark Harbour, NL.
She had extensive choral experience as a singer and a director of ensembles including directing several choirs all based in the Huronia area: the Huronia Choristers, the Huronia Children's Chorus and Serenata In 1992, as Director of Serenata, she was awarded the Canada 125 medal for outstanding contribution to the cultural life of the Huronia area.
