We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2025, Ralph William Gowing (Owen Sound, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Ralph farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ralph is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife June; his children, Daniel (Marion), Susan, Kelly (Loreen) and Jane (Mark Aitken); and his brother Jack.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brown Family Funeral Homes (1178 4th Ave W, Owen Sound, ON N4K4W5). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Brown Family Funeral Home (Formerly Tannahill Funeral Home) (1178 4th Ave W, Owen Sound, ON N4K4W5).
Memorial donations to Georgian Village and Manor (payable to the County of Simcoe) would be appreciated by the family.
