Ruthann Sandra Abell Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruthann Sandra Abell (Owen Sound, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 27, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert William; her children, Marion (Kerry Bristo) and Robert "Bob" Barnes (Rina); her grandchildren, Lee-Anne (Jonathan), Michael, Kiel, Brandon, Sarina (Justin), Katrina (Jason) and Jonathan; and her brothers, Brad Richards (Joanna) and Steven Richards (late Bev).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Brown Family Funeral Homes (1178 4th Ave W, Owen Sound, ON N4K4W5). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial donations to the Owen Sound Animal Shelter would be appreciated by the family.
