Alfred Thrower Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 2, 2026, Alfred Thrower (Plattsville, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Thrower (Pfohl); his parents, Harold Thrower and Stella Thrower (Reddom); his siblings, Allan Thrower and Dianne (Stan Fritz); and his in-laws, Clarence and Miriam Pfohl.
He is survived by: his children, Dugan, Christina Thrower of New Hamburg, Terri Ann, Alex Forsythe of Peterborough, Derek Thrower and Jane Halamoutis of New Dundee; his grandchildren, Lilyane, Declan, Emma Lynn, Owen, Madison and Mekenna; his siblings, Larry (Helen Thrower), Stewart (Lynne Thrower), Delbert (June Thrower) and Janet (Gary Brummell); and his sister-in-law Betty Thrower of Stirling. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Conservation Authority Memorial Forest or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
