She was predeceased by: her husband Delbert Jackson; her parents, Carl Platz and Esther Platz (Cameron); and her siblings, Philip (Gladys Platz), Ken (Molly Platz), Rebecca, Glen Hartman, Gertrude, Verner Stein, June and Gord Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Dale (Dawn) of Richwood, Wayne (Marlene) of Plattsville, Brian of Eganville, Carl (Sandra) and Shane of Denbeigh; and her brother Stanley Platz (Elizabeth) of Kingston. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Plattsville Chapel (40 William St N, Plattsville, ON N0J1S0). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Chesterfield Cemetery (816661 22, Chesterfield, ON N0J1B0). A reception was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peace United Church (20 Samuel St, Plattsville, ON N0J1S0).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
