He was predeceased by: his daughter Amy; his father Clement; and his in-laws, Bus and Marion Guenther. He is survived by: his wife Donna Brooker; his children, Cory (Leanne) and Jenny (Joe); his grandchildren, Ethan, Madison, Averie, Brandon and Tyler; his mother Anna; and his siblings, Donna (Jim), Brian (Lisa), Stephen (Wendy), Sharon (Paul) and Mike (Lynn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
