Katherine McFarlane Obituary

With solemn reverence, we commemorate Katherine McFarlane (Plattsville, Ontario), whose life came to an end on May 19, 2026 at the age of 79, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Riznyczuk and Pearl Riznyczuk; and her sisters, Mary Kotiuk (Steve) and Helen Buszchak (Bob). She is survived by: her husband George; her children, Kimberley and Robert; her daughter-in-law Leanne; and her grandchildren, Kenna, Ian, George, Owen and Isla.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Plattsville Chapel (40 William St N, Plattsville, ON N0J1S0). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Peace United Church (20 Samuel St, Plattsville, ON N0J1S0).
