He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Snider and Gertie Snider (Kunkel); his former wife Jean; his daughter Brenda; his son-in-law James Kew; and his siblings, Foster, Ross, Merle, John, Glen, Ruby Boltz, Rhea Patterson and Betty Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Johanna (Pronk); his children, Ken (Barb) of New Hamburg, Bev (Bill Bell), Kerry (JoAnne) of Plattsville and Kris of Woodstock; his stepchildren, Bernie, Bonnie Molenaar (Steve Ferris) of Thorndale, Karen, Derrick Vandenburg of Embro, Linda and Jurgen Umlauf of London; and his brothers, Darrel (Donna Snider) and Dale (Julie Snider). He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association or to Multiple Sclerosis Canada would be appreciated by the family.
