He is survived by: his wife Margitta; his children, Kim (Ron), Dan (June) and Melody (Blaine); and his grandchildren, Camille, Ayla, Darlene, Zachary and Kaitlyn.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chantry Centre (35 Grey St S, Southampton, ON N0H2L0).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Blood Services or give a blood donation in John's memory as he did himself over 275 times during his life.
