He was predeceased by: his siblings, Betty Oberski (late Gus) and Andy Melko (late Shirley); his brother-in-law George Zywine (late Anne); his parents, Mike Melko and Mary Melko; and his parents-in-law, Mike and Mary Zywine.
He is survived by: his children, Ginny Henry (Hardy), Joanne Chiarelli (Michael), Paul Melko (Johanne), Dave Melko (Jodi) and Mike Melko (Stacey); his grandchildren, Ben Wall (Kayla), Kate Virgo (Greg), Bethany Shushereba (Eric), Laura Heenan (Mike), Matthew Chiarelli, Julia O'Connell (Jordan), Angela Hayward, Daniel (Joanna Spyridon), Fiona, Christopher Melko, Sidney and David Melko (Camila Messina); and his great grandchildren, Mayzie, Bria, Logan Wall, Elsie Virgo, Alec, Silas Shushereba, Cecilia Heenan, Kian and Maeve O'Connell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
