He is survived by: his wife Helen MacDonald (O'Hare); his son Tom Shields (Diane); his friends, Joe, Barb McKenna, Rick and Connie Barker; his sister Sally Massel (Tom); and his siblings-in-law, Verna Steffler, Jeanie MacDonald, Sue MacDonald, Cathy MacDonald, Carole MacDonald and Doug MacLean.
