Kenneth GRANT Archer Obituary

Kenneth Grant Archer, known to many as Ken, Kenny, or Arch, passed away peacefully at his home in Wasaga Beach on February 25, 2026, at the age of 63. He was surrounded by the love of his wife and children, held close until his final breath.

Born on February 8, 1963, and raised in Elmvale, Ken carried his roots with him throughout his life. He was a man defined not by noise, but by steady presence. His quiet strength anchored those around him, and his quick wit could lift a room in seconds.

Above all else, Ken was most proud of the life he built with his beloved wife, Shannon, and their children. His family was his greatest accomplishment and his deepest joy. Ken's life was forever shaped by his love for Shannon. What they built together was more than a marriage; it was a partnership anchored in trust, laughter, and a love that never wavered.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his devoted wife, Shannon; his children, Kristen, Jillian (Rick), Colleen, and Dylan; and his cherished grandchildren, Aryana, Owen, Jude, Ryder, and Bentley, who brought him immeasurable pride and joy. He is also lovingly remembered by his sisters, Tammy and Terry (Bob), along with many nieces and nephews who will carry his memory forward.

He was predeceased by his parents, Betty and Roy, and his brother, Neal.

Ken will be remembered for his devotion to family, his sharp humor, and the quiet determination he brought to everything he set his mind to. His love was steady, strong, and enduring.

His presence will be deeply missed, but the foundation he built in love will continue through the family he cherished.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 7th from 2pm-5pm at the Elmvale Legion.

Bonnie McGill-Ploeg wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Shannon and family, Terry, Bob and Tammy. So sorry for your loss. Kenny did a bit of work for me and he was a pleasure to have around. No fuss or muss with him. I sure appreciated his skill in painting and wall papering. We had some nice chats to go along the way. May he rest in peace. Bonnie McGill-Ploeg, Elmvale”
