Fletcher Funeral Home was established in 1944 by Wilbert and Gladys Campbell Fletcher. The original location was on Providence Street in New Iberia. The location was then moved in 1962 to Railroad Avenue. From there, the funeral home moved to its 6,500 square feet location at 403 Field Street in 1971. As the business grew, the funeral home was moved once again to its present location under the management of its new owners, John Butler, Jr. and Muriel B. Lewis at 609 West Admiral Doyle Drive.
Though we may have moved our purpose is providing the same. It is our mission to provide the same quality service to all our customers and keep the legacy going. Our job is to service people in their time of need.
