She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Hite and Edna Belle Hite; her adoptive parents, Bud Mencer and Beulah Mencer; and her sisters, Elberta Bills and Martha Lee Radcliff.
She is survived by: her daughter Jeannie Elam; her brothers, Jimmy Mencer (Sharon) and Wayne Mencer (Faye); and her grandchildren, Connie McWhorter and John Elam. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
