She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Turner and Rowland Turner. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, James Hassell Jr. and Katherine Schock; her grandchildren, Matthew Schock and Samantha Schock; and her sisters, Mary Rhodes and Shirley Coble.
Though in her last years she dealt with Alzheimer's, her life prior to that was full and rewarding.
