She is survived by: her father John Palmer; her daughters, Shelby Peterson (Steve), Kelly Nelson, Hilary Williams (Paul), Megan Smith and Summer Smith; her grandchildren, Bella, Hunter, Grayson Williams, Mikenzie Smith, Jersey Licata, Jace, Jaxson Smith, Mikayla, Christian, Conner Smith, Lauren Olson, Morgan DeHaan and Madison Weld; her brother David Palmer (Beth); her nephew Matthew; her niece Katie; her sister Ruth Gregory (Richard); her nephews, Aaron and Spencer; and her daughters, Erin and Caroline.

Jim and Morgan will be donating to the Caroline Torgerson Fund at the Alaska Community Foundation in Carolynn's name.
