He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Bailey Sr. and Myrtle Bailey; his sister Evelyn Jeannette Cook; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Barlow. He is survived by: his wife Janet Bailey; his daughter Ann Marie Diamante; his grandchildren, Antonio Alforque, Jazzmen Gambill and Shianne Searls; his great grandchild Aloha Gambill; his sisters, Betty Rhodes and Sue Barlow; his brothers-in-law, Turner Rhodes and Donald Cook; and his daughter Olive "Pickles" Pickett (Beetle). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anchorage Funeral Home & Crematory (1800 Dare Ave, Anchorage, AK 99515). The military honors will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Fort Richardson National Cemetery (58-512 Davis Hwy POB 5498, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK 99505). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026.
