It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chan Hong (Anchorage, Alaska), who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Chan has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Yang Min Hong. She is survived by: her children, Hyun Sook Krasnican (Jamey) and Shawn Hong (Gill); and her grandchildren, Sarah, Jason, Daniel Kim, Julien Hong (Brittany) and Thomas Krasnican (Morgan). She is also survived by great-granddaughters, most of her brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
