He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Taylor and Ida Bell Taylor (Sidebottom); his wife Gwendolyn Y Taylor; his daughter Evie Pense; his siblings, Victor Taylor, Dorothy Uptain, Lois Padia and Charlotte Stanley; and his son-in-law Richard Hatcher.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ida Belle Shull (Jerry) and Charlene Y. Hatcher; his grandchildren, Robert Shull (Sabrina), PJ Bister (Bill), Tony Pense (Jackie), Laura Smith (Justin), Amanda Myers (Danny), Stephanie Hatcher, Missy Sousley (Shawn) and Greg Shull; his great grandchildren, Tyler Pense, Justine Pense, Haleah Harris-Talbert, Brian Smith, Logan Myers, Katelynn Smith, Shawna Sousley, KC Sousley, Kian Shull and Rachel Sousley; and his great great grandchildren, Lynley Talbert, Charlie Smith, Zacariah Smith and Flynn Shull.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Chapel (737 E St, Anchorage, AK 99501). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
