Though Darwin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Darwin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nora Walter, and Darwin R. Walter, Sr.; and his daughter Dolly Roit. He is survived by: his wife Carmelita "Dolly" Walter; and his children, Darice Walter, Darwin V. Walter, Sr. (Martha), Diane Walter, Dawn Medema (Max) and Daniel Walter. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Patrick's Parish (2111 Muldoon Rd, Anchorage, AK 99504).
