He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Earl Cox, Sr. and Louise Rene Wilder; his wife Jo of Lancey; his children, Darin, Ronald and Shannon; and his grandchildren, Brittany and Billy.

He is survived by: his daughter Terrie Mason (Royal). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one great, great grandson.
