He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edwards and Myrtle Edwards (Carlberg); his daughter Denise Catherine; his wife Gloria; his siblings, Lendall, Charles and James Edwards; his parents-in-law, James and Opal Curtin; his siblings-in-law, Dennis, Roger Curtin, John Huneke, Doris, Gloria, Evelyn Edwards, Virginia, Wilma and Betty Curtin; and his great grandchild Alexis De La Cruz.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Edwards (Nora) of Trapper Creek, AK, Charles Edwards of Eagle River, AK, Diane Dvorak (Daniel) of Yankton, SD and Daniel Edwards of Eagle River, AK; his siblings-in-law, Michael Curtin, Mary Huneke of Macon, GA and Loretta Curtin; and his grandchildren, Shara De La Cruz, Kimberley Pate (Tony), Shani Worley (Isaac), Sarah LaScola (John), Chris Dvorak (Nicole), Shana Deibler (Daniel), Jordan Edwards (Ema Kate), Shari Clare (Charles), Brendan Dvorak (SiaKayle), Charles Edwards, Sarah Welsh (Devin), Timothy Edwards (Charlotte), Angela Golder (Cody), Myriah Edwards, Amanda Edwards (Sam) and Evan Dvorak (Aleah). He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Andrews Catholic Church (16300 Domain Ln, Eagle River, AK 99577). A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery (535 E 9th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99501).
