With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Edgar Rose of Anchorage, Alaska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2026 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rose and Viola Rose; his wife Jenell Rose; and his siblings, Minnie, Margaret, Mable and Robert.

He is survived by: his children, Brent Rose (Vickie), Denise Rose, Kent Rose (Nanette), Kim Sanders (Bruce), Craig Rose (Jennifer) and Tami Higgins (Chris). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
