He was predeceased by : his parents, Colonel Charles Spurgeon and Mildred Mills Basinger; and his sister Ann Wilkins of Falls Church, Virginia.. He is survived by : his wife Donna Null; his children, Charles of Birmingham, Peter of Moab and Hope Hubbard (Toby) of Anchorage; and his brother John of Enumclaw, Washington..
