It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Floyd Hank of Anchorage, Alaska, born in Barrow, Alaska, who passed away on April 27, 2022, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father William Ahmaogak; his grandparents, Carl and Eunice Hank; and his cousins, Caroline Hank, Molly Kunaknana, William Ahmaogak and Robert Frank Hopson.
He is survived by: his mother Merilyn Otton; his siblings, Naomi Ratcliff, Lucy Okpik, Lilly Hank, Britt, Laura, Harry Hank, Gordon Ratcliff, Ward Kayutak, Clarke and Kevin Burt; his cousins, Cassie Hopson, Katuk Hopson, Sam Kunaknana, Martha Hockings, Carl Hank, Cloyie Edwards, Lisa and Hattie Kunaknana; his nieces, Jazmine Ratcliff, Ava Erickson, Oomakpak Nayakik, Raina Hopson Olemaun, Laurena Hank and Carlee Olson; and his great-nephew Elijah J. Kaleak.
