John Thorsness Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thorsness (Anchorage, Alaska), who passed away on August 12, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David and Priscilla; and his cousins, Jim, Julia Thorsness, Gail Webb Spurrier and Carol Greenup.
He is survived by: his close friends, Vern Tejas, Charlie Sassara, Brian, Diane Okonek, Mike Lessimeyer and Grant Law; his wife Gerianne; his children, Sophie (Steven), Annie (Dustin), Kaiya (Gaven) and Henry; his granddaughter Daisy; his siblings, Dan (Victoria) and Kristen (Lynne); and his close friends, Todd Rust, Dave Dickhaus and Dave Kyzer.
The doors open at 4:30 p. m., and ceremonies begin at 5:30 p. m. To keep family and friends safe, we ask that those who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 wear masks.
