She was predeceased by : her parents, Sybil Reed Justis and James Henry Farley Justis; and her siblings, Hollis, Jim Justis, Roberta Shelton and Prentice Shepherd (Richard Allen Asay).

She is survived by : her son Brian Asay; her great grandchild Luna Asay; her sisters, JoAnn Painter and Merry Osborne; and her daughters, Debbie A. Martin (Brent), Michelle M. Brezenski (Jerry) and Dorene R. Asay (Gooseberry). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 8 (almost 9) great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the LDS Strawberry Chapel (3250 Strawberry Rd, Anchorage, AK 99502). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
