It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Mae Goodson (Anchorage, Alaska), who passed away on June 29, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Abernethy and Connie Abernethy; her husband Charles Goodson; her daughter Dana Goodson; and her siblings, Carl James Abernethy, Luna Belle Howell, Gerald Herbert Abernethy, Connie Beatrice Hager, Audrey Lee Abernethy, Bobby King Abernethy, Ethel Josephine Abernathy, Ila Nadine Hildebrand and Gerald Bain Abernethy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Miller (Dale) and Charlene Cox; her grandchildren, Kyle Miller (Steffanie), Christopher Miller, Haley Campbell (Dakota) and Madison Carey; her great grandchildren, Crimzine of Anchorage, Alaska, Alex of Anchorage, Alaska, Hayden of Anchorage, Alaska, Jaxson of Anchorage, Alaska, Quintyn Miller of Anchorage, Alaska and Malachi Carey of Anchorage, Alaska; and her granddaughter Gunnar Campbell of Ragland, Alabama..
