He is survived by: his sister Ann Margaret; his wife Lydia; his former wife Bernice Yvonne Austin; his children, Laura Dawn and Greg Scott Martin; his grandchild Ryan; and his daughter Shelley Jo Martin.
For his contributions to civic festivals, he received many honorary festival memberships and awards from Portland, Tacoma, Olympia, Seattle, Wenatchee, and Leavenworth, Whitefish, and the 1985 Canadian Travel and Tourism Industry Award for Attraction/Event Executive of the Year, Vancouver.
