In the vast expanse of eternity, Rita shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rita farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulrich Egger and Philomena Egger; her husband Ken; and her siblings, Anna, Robert and Gottfried.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas (Becky), Paul (Helen), Mary (Gordon) and John. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holy Family Cathedral (800 W 5th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99501).
