He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Cooper (Embley) and Butler Cooper; and his wife Mary Ann Benson. He is survived by: his children, Dianne Velasquez (Larry), Jeff Cooper (Cindy) and Mike Cooper (Debbie). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
