With solemn reverence, we commemorate Shirley Ann Schmidt of Anchorage, Alaska, born in Yakima, Washington, whose life came to an end on April 21, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Tracy Schmidt; her parents, Philip LaFramboise and Philomene LaFramboise; and her siblings, Carol Williams, Philip "Flip" LaFramboise, Beverly Babbitt, Marcel LaFramboise, Linda Wallace, Diann Martin, Gregory LaFramboise, Ronald LaFramboise, Donald LaFramboise and Donald LaFramboise II.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, McKenzie Fetta (Alex), Gregory Schmidt (Vanessa) and Elizabeth Clark; her great grandchild Natalie Fetta; and her siblings, Tony LaFramboise, Larry LaFramboise, Charlotte Fetters, Therese Grant, Janice LaBrie and Patricia LaFramboise. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and at 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local cat shelter in Shirley's honor—she had a lifelong love for animals, especially cats.
