He was predeceased by: his grandparents, George Petersen, Rowe and Julia Redick; and his brothers, Brett and Joey Redick.
He is survived by: his parents, Jeff Rath (Barbara) and Heidi Redick (Darrel); his fiancée Jenna Hickel; his sisters, Teresa Criswell (Cole), Samantha Redick (Emi Williams), Chelsie Rodriguez, Jannay and Kiana Rodriguez-Smith; his siblings' children, Elsie Criswell and Jackson Redick; his grandparents, Judy Petersen, Mary Smith and Dexter Smith; his aunt Teresa Christensen (Jay); and his cousins, Morgan and Tucker Barry.
The Tanner Rath family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Anchorage Hockey Association – Little Dipper Learn to Skate/Play program for his love for the sport. Donations in honor of Tanner can be made to: AHA – 534 East 16th Anchorage, Alaska 99501.
