In the vast expanse of eternity, William shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid William farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harriet Speir and Richard Speir; his stepson Stephan Lewandowski; and his granddaughter Shantel Castel-Lewandowski. He is survived by: his wife Sonia Speir; his stepsons, Edward Lewandowski (Blanca) and Johnny Lewandowski (Kennita); and his siblings, Brian Speir (Kathleen), Larry Malkin (Phyllis), Leslie Mottishaw (Robin) and Robin Halverson (Mike). He is also survived by his four children from his previous marriage; seven grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (8000 E 36th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99504).
