We announce the death of Walter Lovell of Chugiak, Alaska, who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 71. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Agnes Simeon Lovell; his wife Suzanne; his sons, Joshua (Joan) and Walter Steven Lovell, Jr.; his brother William Lovell Jr.; his pets, Jack, Willow and Phoenix; Stephanie Moore, Mary Lovell, Judy Smith and Joan "Jackie" Tvenge. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Janssen's Mat-Su Funeral Home (6901 E Blue Lupine Dr, Palmer, AK 99654).
