She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Pixler and Mary Pixler; her sisters, Mary Katherine and Galenna Jane; and her sibling-in-law Beverly.
She is survived by: her husband Norman L Voorhis; her children, Daniel L Voorhis (Loni), Gretchen J Short and Erica K East (George Jr); her great grandchildren, Amber Alvarez (Mario), Brigitte Thomas (Daniel), Cameron Voorhis of George East, III., Evey Gilmore (Kayleigh), Seiver, Juliene, Tamara Strohl (Raymond), Emily Schink, Danica, Adeline, Veronica, Susan Spanbauer (Elijah), Matthew East and James East (Katie); and her siblings, Minerva Shipman (Wes), Tom Pixler (Flo) and Janice Carter (Steve). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Anchorage Lutheran Church (1420 N St, Anchorage, AK 99501).
