He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie James "Jim" Gore and Sally Ruth Gore (Fipps); his wife Joann Beck of Columbus County, NC; his brother Jimmy Milton Gore; and his sister-in-law Daneen Gore.
He is survived by: his children, Tanya Anne Gore (Durrett) and Jeremy James Gore; his siblings, Jesse Gore of Aberdeen, NC and Betty Ruth Greene; his siblings-in-law, E. W. Greene of Clarendon, NC and Betty Faye Gore of Charleston, SC.; his grandchildren, Tia Gore of Eagle River, Kassidy Gore of Alpharetta, Georgia. and Marcus Durrett (Jodi) of Anchorage; his great grandchildren, Cobin and Tucker Durrett of Anchorage, Alaska.; and his cousin Jackson Gore of Whiteville, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel (300 E 5th St, Tabor City, NC 28463). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (16010 James B White Hwy S, Tabor City, NC 28463).
